"We heard about Dye's in Paris"...France?

Yes, these folks heard about Dye's Gullah Fixin's in Paris. Yes, Paris, France! It's true. Drs. Jane Taube and David Kilgore were vacationing there and ran into people from Hilton Head. They agreed to eat at Dye's on their next trip to Hilton Head...and they did, along with Jane's parents who were vacationing with them.

From the left (in the photo above): Dye, Dr. David Kilgore, Mr. Betty Taube, Dr. Jack Taube and Dr. Jane Taube. The loved the collards, the cakes, the fried chicken...well, everything! Mrs. Taube especially enjoyed the cornbread, saying that it was "...unbelievably light and moist".

The Kilgore/Taube Troupe ate with Ms. Dye many times during their week in Hilton Head! Yummmm...
